I have yet another hair masque, but surprise I actually use this as co-washing conditioner. This is the Proclaim Argan Oil Intense Hydrating Masque, I've been eyeing this product for a long time, but I've never been a fan of proclaim products, so with a recent sale at Sally's I decided to bite the bait. So is it worth it? Lets see!
Proclaim Argan Oil Intense Hydrating Masque is a thick off white creme products that come in 16 oz! This product is supposed to be used as a weekly hair masque that you leave in for about 3-5 minutes to help hydrate and restore the health in your hair. I personally didn't like it as a hair masque. It has no slip, so its not slippery and it coats the hair really well, so you don't need a lot of product. As a hair masque I didn't find that it hydrate my hair for the the entire of week or keep it soft until the next weekly use. I did find that if you leave this product in pass the 3-5 recommendation, that it did a better job, but nothing life changing.
So you ask then why do I use this as a co-washing conditioner?! I co-wash my hair every 2 days and I find that this product really does hydrate my hair when used on a more regular basics. My curls are really hydrate and my braidouts/twistouts never look dry or dull. I've been co-washing with this conditioner for over a month now and I've barely put a dent in it.
Overall I do like this product as a co-wash conditioner and as a hair masque only if you have the time to leave it in your hair for a good length of time. The 3-5 minutes claim in my opinions just doesn't keep it with the claims that products offers. It is certainly worth trying and must have.
XOXO

Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Strength Reconstructing Butter
Hello everyone! Today I have Garner Fructis Damage Eraser Strength Reconstructing Butter hair mask to review today. The Damage Eraser line is the newest haircare formula from Garner Fructis and I'm a fan of Garner Fructis because their products smell so wonderful…so this this hair mask eraser hair damage lets see.
The Damage Eraser Strength Reconstructing butter is a thick butter with a sweet fruity smell. It is instructed that you leave this in for 3-5 minutes. I never find that hair mask work in 3-5 minutes, so I left it in for 30-45 minutes with a plastic cap over my hair. When applying it to the hair, the product doesn't have a lot of slip, it locks onto the hair and spreads easily.
After washing it out, my hair felt like BUTTER so serious! My hair was so soft and manageable! Once I blow dried my hair, I very little flyways and frizzly spare hair all over the place. And my hair straighten out super EXCELLENT! My hair hasn't been this bouncy and soft in a long time from a hair mask. I just love this mask so much and I plan on picking up the shampoo and conditioner. This is a much try!

January Favorites 2014
So January is OVER! January is one of my favorite months simply because its my birthday and the start of a new year. Today I'm bringing you my January favorites, which isn't a lot because I was so busy this month. Let's drive right into it!
First up is MAC Face and Body foundation. Quick story on this product I used to HATE this foundation. So what changed it to be a favorite? My skin. My skin cleared up since the last time I used this and I am in LOVE. I apply 2 coats and top it off with my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish. This has been my everyday look this month!
Lush Mask of Magnaminty Cleanser is one of my ALL TIME favorite mask. Its prompted by LUSH as a cleanser, but I use it as a nice, gentle mask everyday. It gives a nice, tingle, refreshing feeling and my skin just feels so radiant.
Wet n Wild Fergie On Edge Longwearing Eye Liner in the color Hyper Sky is from the new permanent line of eyeliner within the Fergie collection. I just love this color blue and awakes my eyes so much when applied to my waterline. It is pretty long wearing, but slightly fades in color towards the end of the day. But overall its a beauty!
Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight mask is a great moisturizer for my skin doing the winter time for me. I use it nightly and it just gives my skin baby skin smoothes in the morning. My face feels hydrated and fresh.
NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder is pretty impressive. It lightweight and finely milled sparkling particles. It doesn't give my face a flat matte look, but simply a fresh, blurred look. If you have deeper skin, be careful with being to product heavy because it can give .|a white case effect if too much is applied.
MAC Select Cover Up concealer is a sheer to medium coverage concealer. I like this because it sets fast and dries down to a matte finish, so once in place it won't move. LOVE IT!
MAC Sable eyeshadow is a favorite of mines and has been for years. Its just the perfect peachy, shimmery color that suits every occasion. As you can see I have hit pan on mines and will be purchasing another sometime this week.
L'oreal Color Vibrancy Instant Shock Treatment is quick 60 seconds conditioner that gives your color treated hair a shiny, brilliant look. I recently dyed my hair a black blue color and this really keeps my color alive and awake.
SO…thats everything! Nothing too major but I truly love every single product. What were some of you guys favorites for the month of January?

Brandee

L'oreal Oleo Therapy Oil Infused Shampoo and Conditioner Review
Hello everyone! How was the weekend? Mines was nice and relaxing. The weather has been pretty amazing in Dallas, so I took full advantage of the breezy. Today I have the new L'oreal Oleo Therapy Oil Infused Shampoo and Conditioner. This set is a 6 flower oil based sulfate free system…so does it live up to the claim that you will have luxurious, moisturizing hair? Lets find out!
First up we need the L'oreal Oleo Therapy Oil Infused Shampoo, now this is an extremely oil gel based shampoo. Its very thick and you can feel the heavily infused oil in the every drop. Despite how thick it is, the shampoo spreads nice over the hair, so you need don't need that much. Once rubbed in, the oil feeling goes away and turns into a traditional shampoo. Once rinsed out my hair was tangle free and super soft. This is rare in other shampoos that I have used can have my hair tangle and hard. It was also easy to rinse out, and there was no oil greasy feeling afterward, which is always a plus!
The conditioner acts similarly to the shampoo except instead of being a thick gel, its a thick oil based creme. It spreads easily and has a heavier scent of flowers than the shampoo. Once rinsed out the conditioner only help intense the softest of my hair. I mean, my hair truly felt like butter. It washed out easily and didn't leave a greasy feel or a strapped feel like some sulfate free conditioner can sometimes do.
Overall this duo has really impressed me. I love L'oreal products and this duo is amazing. Easy to lather up and rinse. No greasy or strapped feeling. Makes my hair feel like butter, and gives a really nice shiny healthy look to the hair. This is certainly my go to shampoo and conditioner at the moment and its so worth a try. You can find this at Target or Ulta.

L'oreal Oleo Therapy Deep Recovery Hair Mask Review
Today I want to share with you all the new L'oreal Oleo Therapy Deep Recovery Hair Mask. This is a new system from L'oreal that they promise will give luminous and shiny hair. Now I am a huge L'oreal haircare person. I think their products for hair are just so good especially their hair mask. I spotted this on a recent trip to Ulta and I've used it several times and I must say L'oreal has done it again.
The L'oreal Oleo Therapy Deep Recovery Hair Mask is a thick restorative treatment with a mix of 6 flower oil blended formula. This product is thick, but not so thick that it's greasy. This product has no slip and glades into the hair easily. It spreads nicely on the hair so you don't need to be heavy handed to feel as though it has truly covered your hair. The directions say to leave on for 3-5 minutes, but I leave it on between 15-30 with a heating cap over my head. This product is HEAVEN. My hair left like butter after washing it out. It wasn't leap or dry, but just really soft to the touch and moisturize. Now I will say that it didn't make my hair shiny at all, but I can live with that. This product is just amazing.
Overall I love this product. I do plan on getting the entire the system and trying it out, but for now this deep mask is doing wonder for my hair. Because my hair is dry I do this twice a week and you can lessen depending on your hair. You have find this at Target and Ulta.
xoxo,
Brandee
